1. Facial Identity Based Time & Attendance, Shift Clocking
Once a worker arrives at the worksite, he/she would present themselves in front of a tablet or IP camera; no touch or contact is required. The video feed is processed by the AI engine of a Facial Biometric clocking software which would accurately identify the employee and update the entry or exit timestamp. The system was also integrated with existing backend IT systems so that the clocking data for entry and exit timestamps could be automatically fed into the payroll system.
2. Facial Identity Based Physical Access/Lock Operation
At the time of accessing a door or turnstile for accessing secure areas, the worker would present themselves in front of a tablet or IP camera; no touch or contact is required. The video feed is processed by the AI engine of a Facial Biometric clocking software which would accurately identify the employee, verify the credentials with the existing access control system and activate the lock or turnstile.
3. Facial Recognition Based Password Reset
A simple app based workflow was set up for end-users that require a password reset to self-help themselves using a secure app or self service kiosk. With sufficiently advanced spoof detection methods, such a process can provide the requisite enterprise grade security along with high efficiency and minimal cost.
4. Secure Area Monitoring & Alerting
Given the sensitive nature of the production of certain products, production or staging areas require additional security and only authorized personnel are permitted. Such areas were protected and secured using Oloid biometric technology by installing IP cameras.
